Welcome to SFBM!
The Swedish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Per Jemth receives the Svedberg Award 2010
for his
Important contributions to the understanding of the interplay between protein
folding and peptide-protein interactions in cell membrane protein organization.
Jemth is associate professor at Uppsala University and will present his research
as well as receive the prize at the FEBS congress in Göteborg last June.

The Svedberg award 2009
Per Hammarström receives the Svedberg Award 2009 for his
Innovative contributions to the understanding of protein misfolding at a
molecular level. His research contributes to understanding diseases caused by
aberrant protein folding and protein aggregation.
Hammarström
is associate professor at Linköping University and the award was presented at
the FEBS congress in Göteborg last June.
