The annual
Symposium of the Swedish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology,
22-23 September, Göteborg
"Metabolic control: from
micro-organisms to human"
SFBM's annual meeting 2008 gathered 80
participants and the programme consisted of 17 exciting lectures. Professor
Thomas Helleday, Stockholm University and University of Oxford was awarded the
The Svedberg Prize and Professor Grahame Hardie, University of Dundee was
awarded the FEBS National Lecture award, during the symposium.

A number of abstracts were submitted prior to the symposium and a
